engine is overheating?

when i start my car its hot then when i drive it cools down or when i am in idle it starts to get hot?

Hello,

First of all you want to make sure that your coolant is at the correct level.

It sounds like you might have a faulty radiator cooling fan. That might explain why it gets hot while at a stop but cool back down when you move. As the air moves thru the radiator to cool the engine back down.
Un-operational cooling fan can be the cause of faulty fan motor, faulty relay or the control module.
The relay should be the first item to check. It is located in the fuse block next to the battery. See diagrams below for reference.
