i just bought a brand new battery and autanator, for my car and it keeps going dead but i do need a ignition i dont have the part that u stick the key in i use a knife, but what do i have to do to keep my car started cause it keeps going dead and it's starting to mess with my gauges....

If the battery dies over night, try doing this check for draw and let me know what you find.
