Is it ok to purchase a fuel pump from a wrecking yard instead of buying new or can you purchase rebulit one I dont have funds for new one

You can't rebuild fuel pump. I really don't recommend buying on from the wrecking yard, but I do understand that money is tight.

If you have to get one from a wrecking yard, get one from a vehicle that has frontal damage. At the very least, you know that the fuel pump was working when the accident/damage occurred.
