Almost every time I start my car a funny clicking noise annoys me...it sounds like its coming from my heating system, cause my air and heat system automatically kicks on when i start my car. Now when i start the car i automatically shut the heater off to see if that stops the clicking noise, but it keeps on for about 5 or so seconds then it stops....What can it be...what kind of motor controls my air system?

The temperature is controlled by the use of an air mix door that is operated by an electric motor/actuator. This door can be jammed or the actuator can be inoperative or have stripped plastic gears internally.
