a/c heat fan stays on without the buttons working. no lights on the a/c heat panel. thermostat not working. took out fuse and the fan still works only blowing hot.

I had the same problem. It happened during the summer and the heater
stayed on. If you remove the fuse it stops but so does everything else.
It cost be over 500.00 to replace the unit, but it works now.
I had about 55,000 miles at the time
