I can run my car for quite a while and the temp guage reads heat available but no heat inside the car. When I put the vehicle into gear and drive for a short distance the heat suddenly is there. It comes then goes cold then gets hot and stays hot. It happens all the time. The vehicle doesn't overheat and the temp of the air inside the vehicle is hot.
