Transmission problem
1993 Chrysler Le Baron 140000 miles

We have had just about everything replaced on this beast: new transmission, water pump, fuel pump, alternator. Tonight while driving I noticed car would not go into next gear. Took foot off gas. Then excelerated: rmps' did not drop nor did car shift into next gear.

Hi there,

start with checking the transmission oil level and get a transmission specialist to test drive and advise as this type of issue will require hands on to diagnose.
