1992 Chrysler Le Baron Noise

When I put the fan switch on weather it is Heat or A/C there is an awful noise (it sounds like it is from the tranny) If the fan switch stays off there is no problems. I had brought it to a tranny shop and they tried to charge me $1000.00 to rebuild the tranny.

this is only the AC V-belt, replace it and the noise is gone
