My teenage daughter's '92Lebaron convertible runs great. Problem recently is hearing a whine and then the cars transmission just quits. Sit for a minute or two and it works just fine. Down the road a mile or two and the same problem occurs. There is fluid in the trans. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tony

When you say the car just quits, is the engine shutting off? or just can't move, with engine running? Check on the tranny control for two relays, make sure they are good!

Is the check engine light on?

Engine keeps running fine. Shut it off for a minute or two, car goes like nothing happened. When trans quits it won't work until engine is turned off.
