1991 Chrysler Le Baron charging problem

battery does not charge if batery is replaced the car runs fine i have tested alt. and it works cpu has been replaced i also have traced the wires from Alt. to batery and from the fuse box there dosebt seem to be any damanged i am perplexed i dont know if it could be a jump wire i am out of ideas and just had baby and need car running any ideas???

With everything turned off, is the bat terminal hot? With engine running are the field terminals hot? If you took a couple of voltage readings across the battery terminals, engine off and then running. The second reading should be higher than the first. Another thought is a battery drain.
