1989 Chrysler Le Baron spark plugs

A couple hours after installing NEW Platinum plugs, drove less than 30 miles, the plugs were all black & 2 or 3 of them the tops were broken-like burnt off. Parts Store never heard of such a thing! Car suddenly lost power & we checked the plugs trying to figure out what went wrong.

I recommend installing the original plugs for your engine. Compare the thread length of the stock plug with Platinum plugs you installed. Plugs should not melt down in only 30 miles.
