my 89 chrysler lebaron cranks but wont turn over. It is not the battery and it is getting gas just no fire. What could it be

Hello, did you try holding the coil wire close to engine ground, with the engine cranking, is there a spark? If not check the small primary wires at the coil for b+ and pulsing ground, engine cranking.

Any codes? You have to be careful about the fuel issue, there may be an initial prime even without an rpm signal.
