Electrical problem
1987 Chrysler Le Baron 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi! Model as described, multipoint injection, turbo. Engine does not start, fuel pump OK, Volt. Levels at power module are as follows, L=0V, H=12V(close to):
10 pin conn: 1=L, 2=H, 3=H, 4=H, 5=L, 6=L, 7=L, 8=H, 9=L, 10=L
12 pin conn:
1=5V, 2=L, 3=2.8V, 4=NC(2.8V), 5=H, 6=H, 7=NC, 8=5V, 9=NC, 10=1.47V, 11=2.8V, 12=8.5V
Power module is replaced by a service company, error codes by "Power loss" meth. Is 26, 27, 55. Owner stopped the car, bought a newspaper and the car has not started since then.
Any hope?
Best regards Niels Nielsen

How about some basics
is there spark at plugs?
Fuel pressure?
Check injectors with noid light
Assume Tbelt is O.K. Pull dist cap see if shutter vane has been hitting
compression?

How about some basics
is there spark at plugs?
No, (Z1=L)but can be produced by forcing Z1(pwr. Mod.) High
fuel pressure?
Yes, OK
check injectors with noid light
OK

Assume Tbelt is O.K. Pull dist cap see if shutter vane has been hitting
compression?
OK
* We assume that the first thing must be to get the pwr. Module Z1-line high, any susp. Levels at the powermodule input, see previous message

Go to logic module right kick panel. Disconnect white connector. Hook jumper wire to terminal #6 on connector. Remove coil wire place 1/4 in from thermo. Key on gground jumper wire if spark then replace logic module. If no spark disconnect 12 wire connector from power module. Omh test from #6 on logic trem. To #10 on power module continuity replace power module none repair wire.

Our car has blue and red conn. Terminal 6 is dwell control on conn. 1 and speed controll vent on conn. 2. Which one?

Remove coil wire place 1/4 in from thermo.
Thermo? Any GND will do?

Key on gground jumper wire if spark then replace logic module.
Must have the conn. Terminal confirmed :)

If no spark disconnect 12 wire connector from power module. Omh test from #6 on logic trem. To #10 on power module
Dwell control signal?

Continuity replace power module
OK

none repair wire.
?

What about missing voltage on Z1 (terminal 6 on 10 pin conn. Power module (coil/pump etc. Line)
Are levels on power module lines (10p & 12P) on a working system known?
