1986 Chrysler Le Baron engine power loss

the instrument panel reads power loss
i am starting the engine and give gas
but the engine will die out.

Hi, well this could be many things.
first check fuel pressure
then check cap rotor and pick up
next check convertor for restrictions.
you don,t mention a check engine light. if it is on scan for codes. sounds like a fuel pump or filter prob but these things have to be checked to verify this. good luck billymac
