I have 1998 3.2l chrysler intrepid. Cannot find the coolant temperature sensor, would really appreciate if you can describe how to find it.

Hello,
The engine coolant temperature sensor is located in the intake manifold near the camshaft sensor. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when changing out the sensor.
