1993 Chrysler Intrepid while starting

when i start the car it sounds like it is going to suck in the rest of the car. i'm guessing it is from the aftermarket intake i installed (k&n) but after a while it stops. Is that normal?

I can't say for sure, but chances are the intake has something to do with it. If you replace it with the original, does the sound quit?
