remove the alternator

1990 plymouth grand voyager 205,912 mi v6 i have disconnected the alternator wiring and disconnected the alternator from the mount but can not get the alternator out from the top [mountting braket in the way] or out from the bottom [exhaust in the way] how do i get it out? :?

it can be done from the top but you have to remove the bracket, yes it is tedious and time consuming. but ive done it three times . twice from the top and once from the bottom. the one time that i did it from the bottom, I had it on a lift and did not have to remove the exhaust. mine is a 3.3. I think a 3.0 might be a little easier though. good luck
