What exactly is your problem, does the fan turn on or not, or does it just turn on and you have no hot air coming out of the vents. Have you had any recent jobs done to the coolant system?

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
