When I start my chrysler grand voyager it makes a loud knocking noise that comes from the engine. It at its worst when the car is cold and originally started during very cold snowy period, gets worse when you turn the steering wheel full lock in either direction but almost goes completely when the car has been running and warmed up. It is driving as normal has a full service history last being done 3000miles ago.

This should be checked by someone who can look around and check some things. A simple possible cause could be a loose vibration damper or pulley on the end of the crankshaft. Turning the steeing wheel to full lock strains the power steeing pump which puts more strain on the serpentine belt.
