i just got new breaks a master cylender and i am sometimes hearing grinding noises is this normal

Yes at times you will hear some noise, were the rotors machined or replaced? If niether was done you will have some rust on the edges, and when the pads hit that rust, you will get this symtom...But new pads have a break in period of 2000-5000 miles.
