I have water running along the front driver side to the passenger side in the under the hood. It runs out from behind the glove compartment in a steady stream...I have pine needles that collect along the area exposed between hood and wipers. My husband just died in May at 43 yrs and he said the needles collected and clogged the "ducts". So he would clean out the vents and the problem always stopped. It only took him maybe 10 minutes to do it, but I never watched. can you please give me pictures and details how to clean out the "trap" or vent that is clogged causing the water to collect and run along the front and into my passgenger floor.
Thanks so much.

The only thing I can think of is he cleaned under the cowl at the base of the windshield. I don't have pictures for that. If you open the hood, you will see screws along the cowl and on to there are a few. I would say remove the cowl and clean under there.

Let me know if this helps.

I had the exact same problem, in 1996 Plymouth Voyager.
It always happened after a rain.
This resolved the issue for me:
1. Open hood and look for a hose on the passenger side, underneath the wind shield wipers.
2. Disconnect the hose (mine just slid off).
3. Check the nozzle that the hose was connected to, and clear it of any leaves or trash.

I believe that a vent o circulate outside air into the cabin,
is designed to let rain water flow out thru that hose.
When it is clogged, rain water fills the vent.
