oil warning light comes on after car has warmed up and i come to a stop and just idle, it goes out when the rpm goes higher than 1,200 rpm, does this indicate that the oil pump needs 2 be replace? About how much would this cost

What you need to do here is get a mechanical gauge and hook it up where the oil pressure switch and take readings if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean engine bearings and oil pump-Why don't you do an engine thorough flush before you do my suggestion and see what happens.
