1999 Chysler Grand Voyager hand brake

The hand brake can be pulled all the way to the top and it does not hold the car, also the intermittent wiper system does not work all the time

Hi:

The e-brake could be a couple things. First, the cables may need adjusted. That is done from under the vehicle. You will see the cable running to the rear brakes. Follow them to the hanger with the double nutted bolt. That is where the adjustment is done. If it isn't that, the cables may be rusted, not allowing the park brake to function the rear brakes. If rusted, they will need replaced.

The wipers function with a relay. I have seen the relay go bad. The wipers continue working when they should stop, and you'll hear a click when it doesn't stop. Stopp at the local parts store and purchase the new one and replace it under the dash. NOTE: If you can't find it, refer to your owner's manual.
