1990 Chrysler Grand Voyager coolant sensor

Anybody knows what are the readings on the coolant sensor ? I would like to check it before I buy one for $42.00 I was told a slightly faulty sensor will not always throw a code in the OBD 1
The engine has difficulty starting when warm. It smells rich.

At operating temp should read 700-1000 ohms the cooler engine higher ohms.
