I need to know how to replace my starter relay. It seems that everytime I go to hook up the battery cable back they spark and if I leave it too long it burns the positive cable can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? the relay has a nut..... then a plastic insert..... then the brown wire coming from my left side I'm assuming it's my negative......then the red cable coming from my positive. What can be causing the sparking?
