Engine Cooling problem
2004 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am being charged $510 by the Chrysler dealership to replace the thermostat housing due to the fact that it is leaking coolant. Is this a fair price? It sounds too high to me. Thank you.

Hi:
Yes, that does sound high.

Flat frate is as follows:

2.7L V6 2.0 hours
3.5L V6 1.3 Hours

A thermostat should be under 10 dollars.

Let me know if you have other questions.
