You will need a screwdriver, both types, phillips and a set of torx. You need no power tools, to replace the switch. It is not serviceable other than removing and replacing. You will need a small hammer and a small punch, called a roll punch. Its a round small pointed chisel for driving a 1/16ths pin out to remove the cylinder so you can use your present key(on some). Some have an inverted torx screw to hold the ignition switch in. It is exactly like a torx but has a hole in the middle of the driver head. A small light, a rag, and remove the negative battery cable first. I am pretty sure that is a 10mm wrench or half inch. Thats it. Yell if you need help with any problem. It is simple and steering wheel does not have to come off, just the tilt lever.
