steam is coming out of my tail pipe, do you know what could be causing this?

If it's white smoke it may be coolant getting through into your engine, being buyrned and coming through the exhaust. It's a white steam like smoke. Could be a number of other things but a leaking head gasket is a common cause especially with high mileage and if your losing anti-freeze. ok
