Either the hood latch or cable has broken to open the hood. I took it to the Chrysler dealership to have them fix it and they couldn't even get the hood open. They said they would have to remove the front bumper to get it open at a $300. price tag. There must be someway to get this thing open without taking the car apart. My husband is handy but he couldn't get it open either. HELP-does anyone know how to get this hood open???????

Hi:
I wish I had better news, but the bumper has to be removed to get to the assembly. Maybe you could take to an auto body shop to have the job done. Chances are they're price should be less.
