1999 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the speedometer malfuntion,but once when I driving on the very bump road,the speedometer work again .four hours later I start and driving the car ,the speedometer working ,late not working .
if I do not repair the speedometer and keeping driving , it would cause the car problem ?

The speedometer could have a bad connection where it mounts to the instruement cluster. Remove the lens and remove and try to make a better connection with a small pick tool and be careful with it. You could have other circuit problems but there was a service bulletin on this problem. If you take it apart, be careful.
