I have a 98 chrysler concorde i just bought and every time i come to a complete stop i feel like a tugging motion and as i start to accelerate i feel it again so i took down to get the state inspection and they gave me a big list of problems that ran me around $1100 to fix everything I know they told me something about a trailing arm but i dont know much about cars honestly i just want to know would they have found the cause of that in the process of the inspection? i dont think they wouldnt let a car go on the road with that kinda problem but i dont know. I just hope when i go to pick my car up on monday i feel that nomore. I really hope to get a response soon. Thank you

If you feel this while braking AND while accelerating, start by inspecting the tires for a broken belt. If one is bad enough, you should also see the steering wheel wobble back and forth at low speeds. A tire shop is the best place to take it for this problem. It's common for wires from the steel belts to stick out where the belt is broken. They can really smart if you catch one while running your hand over the tire tread.
