I would definitely like to help you with your problem, but that's pretty impossible with so little information to go on.

Your engine making a ticking noise now likely has nothing to do with having your radiator installed.

As a car ages, it deteriorates, and there's nothing we can really do about it. Maintaining you vehicle according to manufacturers recommendations only slows that aging process down, but doesn't eliminate it.

So just because you have a problem fixed doesn't mean another problem won't arise.

As for a ticking sound, make sure your oil level is proper and that you change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles. This is extremely important, not just a sales tactic. And in fact, as a engine gets older, you may even want to consider changing the oil a little sooner, or switch to full synthetic.

Because as an engine ages, the parts that rotate inside begin to wear and the gaps between them increases. That is almost always the source of noises that come from old engines. If you keep the oil fresh or switch to full syn, you can keep that engine alive much longer.

Good luck. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.
