I got a p1391 code ( intermittent loss of cmp or ckp) and wanted to know if these sensors are cheap and easy enough to get to and replace myself? Or could it also be something else?

these are not cheap sensors, usually runs around $75 and up.. you will want to test the wiring to the sensors and test the sensors themselves before replacing them.
