2000 Chrysler Cirrus key will not turn on

car drove fine. parked car. weather is very snowy and cold.
next time I tried to start the car, the key would not turn. I turned steering wheel back and forth. it locked into position. key still would not turn.
car is in park and will not come out even with foot on brake.
what can I do?

IF you have another key, try it. IF it still doesn't work, chances are the tumbler is bad and will need replaced.
