1999 Chrysler Cirrus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

where is the location of the starter, and what is the easiest way to change it. Nameing the tools and procedure.

It is on the front of the engine about oil pan height. Disconnect the battery, remove the wiring at the starter. There are two bolts holding it on. Remove the bolts and the starter will come out.

Reverse sequence to replace.

Let me know if you have other questions. Also, if you are doing this at home, there is little room under the front of the car. Raise and secure the front end safely before starting.
