The speedometer in my 1999 Chrysler Cirrus has stopped working. What do I need to do to fix it?

You can try checking the two connectors behind the gauge cluster are snug and tight. You also need to check the transmission output sensor or maybe even replace it. Your speedometer is electronically-controlled via the output sensor.

If after the two test the speedo still fails to work, you have to replace the gauge cluster. Don't worry about losing the mileage odometer, it is stored in the PCM.
