my air condition seized and the belt somked and broke off. I heard that you may be able to bypass the aircondition and still hook up the alternator belt is this true and how do you do it??

What I recommend is to check out the belt routing diagrams site on this page to see if there is an option for non-AC cars. I believe there is. Just follow that routing diagram and get the appropriate belt for that set up. Here is the page. Find your set up:
