1999 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 205.66 miles

Hi I'm getting a rubbing noise from right rear rotor on brake pad pads werte replaced not long ago. can i adjust the pad so as not to make contact with the rotor it does'nt contact all of rotor just 50% and if so whre would i find the adjuster ? thanks

Calipers are self adjusting by pad wear, if it's not sitting in the mount right and top half makes more contact than the bottom half, or vice versa, the check the mount and locator pins for wear or damage(bent).
