1999 Chrysler Cirrus It's a two fer.

My wife drives this chrysler, she calls me one day in panic because "the engine is still running, but it wont go". After a quick assessment of the car and a trip around the parking lot, I was sure it was slipping gear. I began checking fluids only to realize, the tran fluid was completely full, however the oil was veeery low.
Could a lack of motor oil, or oil pressure, be affecting her transmission, or are these two problems unrelated?
