1999 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i want to know if the computer is bad would it stop the fuel pump from pumping?

no the computer should not have anything to do with it coming on, however the computer does provide the grounds for all of the sensors to be energized
