Steering problem
1997 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I had the A/C evaporator coil replaced, at the Dealer's. Remote start no longer works(not a chrysler product) But when I turn the steering wheel it make cracking sounds, and is hard to adjust up and down. Been that way since I picked it up at the Dealers. Have not contacted them as yet. Since everything on the dash was taken off, would the steering wheel been affected also. Worked fine when I took it in.
UPDATE I WENT TO THE LIBRARYAND CHECKED AN AUTOMOTIVE HAND BOOK, A VERY HEAVY ONE, AND INDEEDTHE STEERING WHEEL IS INVOLVED IN COIL RELACEMENT. THUS IS OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT REINSTALLED CORRECTLY. NOW I CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH FULL KNOLEDGE THAY THEY ARE AT FAULT. HAPPY DAY.

Hi:

I think that is a good idea. It sounds like something wasn't put together correctly. If you have any other questions, let me know.
