1995 Chrysler Cirrus Gross polluter failed smog

Cylinder 2 gets spark but when pulled from plug while running no difference. Wires are fairly new. I installed new water pump and timing belt. Any help is appreciated. I starts car sometimes and it dies, I notice the RPM gauge isn't working when this happens, It doesn't happen often.

Please give a little more descriptive story as to why you pull plug #2. I need more info to help.
