So today I filled up the car and after it was filled I walked back to the drivers side only to see about 3 dollars worth of gas under the car. What could this be? It has also caused the entire car to smell like gasoline.

possible the fill tube has a crack in it and allowed some fuel to leak out during refueling of vehicle.
