My 86 5th ave heat wont blow hot air

I bought a 5th ave today and the ac works, heat seemed to work earlier, but now isnt blowing hot air.
what can it be?

I would check the blend door, may be faulty, sometimes working sometimes not!

I would replace the thermostat that might be it

Little late for that but it is possible that the thermostat will cause that problem.
