Sometimes when I apply the brakes, the car shudders. Also, it randomly will not start. The radio and clock reset so I had the battery checked. (It's only 18 mos old). Auto Zone said it was fine. Can you help me?

Thanks,
Stephanie

Hi jeffstepmoore and welcome to 2carpros

it randomly will not start.

If you refering this as cranking over and refusing to start-check the fuel pressure could be the fuel pump is failing

When I say that it will not start, I mean that it will not even turn over and then after a few or 100 tries it will start right up.

???

Double check battery connection -also the ground at engine and hot at starter side

Start by checking the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch and ignition switch
