Heater problem
1988 Chrysler 5th Avenue Automatic

My heater only works if the car is idling and then it only blows out of the vents on top of the dash. If your driving the car only cold air blows out of vents.Air does not blow out of regular vents only blows when you have it on defrost.

Hi:

The vent doors are run by a vacuum from the engine to the controler inside the car. Check for broken vacuum hoses from the controler to the engine.
