I have a 85 chrysler 5th ave and when its in park it runs great but when I put it in drive it dies I cant figure it out why it does that does any one know what causes this and how I can fix it?
Already Tried:
I replaced the valve cover gaskets changed the spark plugs also kicks out white or blue smoke when it first starts up but none while it drives dies as soon as I put it in gear.If I coax it I can get her out of the drive way but when I come to a stop it sometimes dies or it bogs down almost dying there is a vacuum hose that run from the carb to this little zert(Where it belongs) on the air filter housing when I have it idling when I disconnect that vacuum hose it seams to run better and when I plug it in it makes the engine rev higher now its totally different when its in gear when its in gear If I have that hose disconnected it runs pretty good but does the same when it drives now when I connect that hose to that zert (in gear) it makes the car bog down and die what can i do?
