I took the EGR valve Off The Intake and started the engine and seemed to run ther same without it even there The Intake Must Be clogged With carbon. Is There any way Of cleaning the carbon out without totally taking off the intake Manafold.
Would this cause the motor to run real rich?
I Replaced The Oxygen Sensor, did not change anything. I still smell rich gas fumes especially at idle

Thank You Bill

Probable causes of an engine running rich are as follows:

1.Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2.Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3.Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4.Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5.Restricted air intake system.
