My 2007 Chrysler has been acting weird. When I am driving and need to accelerate, there are times where it does not respond to me pressing on the gas. I can even press the gas all of the way down and nothing happens. Also..sometimes after I accelerate and lay off of the gas, the check engine light will pop on and then the next time I press the gas, the car wioll not change speeds. I have to pull over, turn off the car and restart it for it to function properly again. It has also been starting to shake as if it is running out of gas..(with a full tank)..and when I try to press on the gas when this is occurring, nothing happens. Please help!

If the check engine light has been on, you need to have the computer scanned. There will be a trouble code stored that will identify where the problem is coming from.

But it sounds lick you have a throttle actuator that needs to be cleaned the coking messes with the the throttle butterfly causing he computer to not know whats going on.

Here is a guide to help you fix it.

Please run down these guides and report back
