I disconnected the negative cable on the battery in the trunk to see if that would reset the check engine light. When I reconnected the cable the interior courtesy lights and the trunk release in the car and on the key fob stopped working. It doesn't appear that any fuse is the culprit. The dealer can't find the problem without "getting into the wiring" and charging me an arm and a leg. I will increase my donation if the right answer fixes the problem. I paid for an answer on another website and the answer was to check a fuse which I had already done so the answer was useless.

Hi
Use a test light in trunk power distribution center find fuse 17 see if power is at fuse all the time ie. key off should test on the little slits on top of fuse. Also does Cargo light come on? if no power on #17 check fuse #8
